Which truly Grit-compatible apps are compatible with iPad?

Propagation – Yes

Beautifully worked, specifically for iPad. If you want to use propreate anywhere other than your iPad, you will be in luck. If you have never used fertility, try it on your friend’s iPad first.

Adobe Photoshop – a little

However, there are a lot of features missing compared to the desktop version. If you’re just painting, it’s not a bad experience, but if you rely on action or use a lot of filters, it’s not enough.

Adobe Illustrator – a little

Like Photoshop, it’s not the full version. Vector brushes are imported clumsyly and have no brush management or organizational features. Scattering and pattern brushing are not supported.

Adobe Fresco – Yes, but…

If custom brushes don’t matter to you, Adobe’s Prodreate competitor is a good drawing app. Most of our Photoshop brushes work in murals, but brush management is limited and does not support basic brush customization such as texture scaling.

Affinity Photo/Affinity Designer- Yes

Affinity photos and designers work the same way as their desk counterparts. The user interface was modified to fit the format and you can get used to some habits, but both apps worked well on the iPad. No notes.

Scrap Studio Paint – Yes

Likewise, the desktop version is a great iPad local companion. As you would expect, all features take up all the features and the interface tweaks are less than you expected. Maybe a little “crashed”, but otherwise a great app on the iPad.

Other applications

Of course, there are a lot of other drawing apps for iPads, but since we don’t have tools for it, and you’re probably a TGTS user, we’ll skip them.
